Compare Slimjim Ultra Slim Skins and Slimjim Holidaze rolling papers: ultra-thin 12 GSM papers for purists vs a complete travel kit with grinder and tray.
Quick Answer
Choose Slimjim Ultra Slim Skins for the thinnest, most natural roll, or go with Slimjim Holidaze (India) KS Rolling Paper if you want a complete all-in-one kit with grinder, tray, and colored tips for travel or gifting.
What Sets Them Apart
The two Slimjim options serve different rolling styles. Ultra Slim Skins focus on an ultra-thin paper experience, while the Holidaze collection bundles everything you need for a session into one package.
If you already have a grinder and tray, the Ultra Slim Skins offer a leaner, more economical choice. If you're starting out or want a portable kit, the Holidaze set removes the need to buy accessories separately.
Portability and Convenience
The Holidaze kit is designed for travel and on-the-go use, with an integrated tray and grinder. The Ultra Slim Skins are just papers, so you'll need to bring your own accessories.
For a quick pack-and-go setup, the all-in-one kit wins. For everyday rolling at home, the simpler pack may be all you need.
Trade-Offs at a Glance
- Thinness vs. Features: Ultra Slim Skins excel in thinness (12 GSM) but offer no extras. The Holidaze kit includes a grinder and tray but the papers are not specified as ultra-slim. Decide if ultra-thin paper or all-in-one convenience is more important for your typical rolling session.
- Price per pack: The Ultra Slim Skins are priced at USD 40.95 for 32 papers, while the Holidaze kit costs USD 144.00 and includes multiple papers plus accessories. If you roll often, the per-paper cost of the Ultra Slim Skins may add up; the kit could be more economical if you need the accessories.
- Portability: The Holidaze kit is built for travel with its integrated tray and grinder, whereas the Ultra Slim Skins require you to carry separate tools. For on-the-go rolling, the kit is more self-contained; for at-home use, the simpler pack is lighter and easier to store.
